Owl Cushion – How to make – Part 2!

Ok so further to the post previously, ‘Owl Cushion – Hot to make – part 1’

Here is part 2!

It’s finally finished!

My sewing machine unfortunately took a bit longer to arrive than expected, but it’s here now, and I’ve very much been enjoying learning how to use it! It’s terrifying though, for someone who’s naturally extremely clumsy. But I still have all my fingers and no puncture wounds, so all is good. 🙂

SO, once you have the main bit, (the flat circle with the eyes and beak all sewn on and ready) using the circle as your template cut out the 2 circles of fabric.

Pin together with tailoring pins.

Sew all around the circle, leaving around 5 inches un-sewn.
Turn back the right way, fill with toy/pillow stuffing, then sew up the remaining bit to finish.

YAY! He is very cute, actually a bit bigger than I expected, but that’s never a bad thing 🙂
